Flexographic printing - Wide web printer
Our machinery park is equipped with two state-of-the-art wide web printers. We print up to 10 colours, in a maximum width of 1200mm. We have the ability to match double-sided printing with an accuracy of 0.2mm, and the Smart GPS system automatically fits the print as small as 40 metres. Online barcode quality control takes place across the width and length of the web.
We have our own photopolymer plate prepress and graphic studio, which ensures brand colour consistency on different types of packaging, as well as full control over the printing process, which secures on-time delivery of orders.
Depending on the type of packaging, we select the appropriate inks; these can be fluorescent, pearlescent, matt, glossy or metallic. Combinations of these effects – matt with glossy or matt with pearlescent – also work very well. Thermal inks, in which the print is only visible within a certain temperature range, work well in some projects. We also use soft touch inks (pleasant to the touch) or scented inks in the printing process.
