Intended use of film

Food films serve as auxiliary or functional material in the production of cured meat products.

Due to its moisture retention properties, and on the other hand, the permeability to smoke aroma, food films are ideally suited for the production of both moulded and whole muscle products and products with different disintegration.

They are an essential part, making the operation more efficient, which additionally optimizes production costs.

Cellulose film NomaFilm®

Cellulose film Nomafilm® is intended for use in the production process of various kinds of cured meat and meat products. It has the highest quality confirmed by certificates and it is purchased from trusted and reliable suppliers.

TYPES OF CELLULOSE FILM:

  • cellulose film Nomafilm® - recommended for manual application
  • cellulose film Nomafilm® Plus - intended for automatic application

Available in the form of rolls and sheets.

ADVANTAGES AND APPLICATION:

  • transparent cellulose film is used for the production of smoked bacons and other cured meat products,
  • is not a barrier to smoke aroma,
  • is impermeable to water and water steam, so the cured meats prepared in the film do not lose their natural moisture, the product remains juicy and resilient,
  • allows to preserve natural ingredients of product (reduces losses during thermal treatment).

Collagen film Edicol

Collagen film Edicol is intended for use in the production process of various kinds of cured meat products. High quality and flexibility of collagen film allow the production of cured meat products of high standard.

During thermal processing, the collagen foil is combined with the meat, so that there are fewer losses by weight and the appearance of product is more aesthetic. The use of film in combination with cured meat net makes it easy to remove the net from the final product.

WHAT IS A COLLAGEN FILM?

collagen film flat and tubular Edicol are edible products made of a delicate collagen mass,

during thermal processing it combines with meat forming an attractive surface,

thanks to connections of flat or tubular collagen film Edicol with cured meat flexible, semi-flexible or decorative nets you can obtain products with a very attractive appearance.

APPLICATION:

We use the edible collagen film Edicol in combination with cured meat nets for the production of various meat products: smoked bacons (such as ham, cured pork shoulder, loin of pork), cured meat meat products with varying degrees of disintegration (smoked and parboiled), dried products (such as: krakowska, żywiecka sausages), ham and ham like products in the form of bars or blocks and finished products for slicing (both pork and poultry).
